About Mark Potter

Mark runs Now Active, a Personal Training service. He wasn't always passionate about fitness. Mark discovered exercise later in life and now shares his knowledge and experiences with others.

Mark started his fitness story with the scales tipping over 19 stone (120kg), a heavy drinker, smoker, with a terrible diet, and a completely sedentary lifestyle. Through gradual change, Mark began working on his physical and mental health. He started adding running into his routine and began improving his nutrition. Later he started going to the gym and learning about various fitness regimes. Over time he lost over seven stone (45kg) and learnt a lot about weight management along the way. He became a certified Personal Trainer in 2019.

Mark spends a lot of his leisure time improving his fitness knowledge and has accumulated various techniques to help you with your fitness journey.

Mark believes that being physically active can significantly impact your physical and mental health.

Mark specialises in developing and improving fitness and weight management.
