Virtual Classes from Now Active

Virtual classes could be for you if you don't want to go to a gym and would rather workout at home. It's like having a PT on your PC (or phone/tablet). Classes are live and use video conferencing software to connect you to the class, and you don't have to turn your camera on if you don't want to. However, if you keep your camera on, Mark will monitor your workout and give feedback to improve your training. 

 

Classes last 30 - 40 minutes, so you can get your fitness fix and then get on with your day.

There are five different classes to choose from to suit different ages, abilities and goals.

HIIT Foundations 

HIIT stands for high-intensity interval training. You'll work at a high intensity for a short period and then take a rest to recover for the next round. HIIT can be challenging for beginners as working at a high intensity can be taxing if you're not conditioned to it.

 

In the HIIT Foundations class, we'll work at building a solid base on which you'll develop your fitness. 

This class will get your heart rate up and burn calories. Expect to get a sweat on, but remember to pace yourself!

Mondays 08:30 - 09:00.

Bodyweight Strength

No kit is needed for this one. Instead, we'll use your body weight and gravity to help you to get stronger. 

 

This class uses a handful of foundational movements that assist with everyday activities, helping life get that little bit easier. We'll focus on moving well and form, which helps reduce the risks of injuries.

Fit in 40

Using just your bodyweight, you'll get a thorough workout in 40 minutes. 

 

Workouts are varied and comprehensive and utilise different modalities to keep things interesting. Modification for challenging exercises are provided throughout, so you'll be able to join in even if you're a complete beginner. 

The focus of this class is to use your body weight to get stronger and fitter. Core stability exercise, bodyweight muscular strength and endurance movements and high-intensity interval training are blended to give you an extensive lunchtime workout.
